Boy Scouting with a Purpose...Through Service, Learning, and Fun!
Troop 918 aims to stand as a leader in Scouting with a unique emphasis on servant leadership.
We are a boy-led troop, driven by a good, wholesome God-centered community, and offer a variety of opportunities including first-class emphasis, camping, hiking, family outings, religious emblem award, merit badges, service opportunities, youth leadership training, and eagle rank guidance.
We invite interested boys and their parents to stop by to check us out. Our Troop meetings take place on Mondays at 7pm in the Refinery Building on the Saddleback Church Lake Forest Campus, with the exception of the last Monday of every month. In addition to the weekly Troop meetings, we schedule monthly campouts, nearby hikes, and other opportunities. Our Guide for Scouts and Parents is loaded with valuable information about Troop 918.
Parent involvement is encouraged. We find that being involved in scouting offers relationship development with your son(s) along with opportunities to use your gifts and talents to better the lives and experiences of all Scouts involved. In addition, history shows that boys are more likely to remain in scouting if one or both of his parents are involved in the Troop.
